Kelley Strain Mackenroth graduated from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law in 2005, after receiving her Master of Science from Loyola University New Orleans, and her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University. During law school, she was a Member of the Loyola Law Review, Loyola Moot Court, and Delta Sigma Theta, and received several academic scholarships and honors. She was also a research assistant for several professors. Mrs. Mackenroth’s article, Geoffrey the Giraffe Arrives in Louisiana: Why Geoffrey Should Not Pay State Income Tax, was published in Loyola Law & Technology Journal, Vol. 6, No. 1 in 2006. Mrs. Mackenroth’s practice focuses on successions, estate planning, personal injury, property law, oil and gas matters as well as insurance litigation. Mrs. Mackenroth has considerable experience in probate and estate planning matters; her personal injury practice includes asbestos-related claims and motor vehicle accident claims. Mrs. Mackenroth's has handled many insurance issues involving coverage, bad faith, and homeowner and commercial claims, as well as motor vehicle claims, on behalf of the insurer and the insured. Mrs. Mackenroth also has considerable experience in oilfield legacy cases, mass tort/class action litigation, and construction litigation. Mrs. Mackenroth is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, Jefferson Parish Bar Association, John C. Boutall Inn of Court, Professional Landman’s Association of New Orleans, Junior League of New Orleans, and is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars.

In her spare time, Mrs. Mackenroth plays roller derby, and is a wife and mother. She is involved in several social and civic organizations, and in November 2008, she was selected as a member of Gambit Weekly’s “40 Under 40,” in honor of her contributions to the New Orleans Metropolitan region.
